  1. @ “More kids being home churched”: I have encountered this schisma. A book written about a decade ago Eugene Peterson, (A Long Obedience) draws from Ps 122 to give a number of excellent reasons why worshiping at home alone of with only our family is an anemic worship: (1) our reading is unconsciously conditioned by our culture, (2) spiritual reflection is limited by our ignorance, (3) spiritual convictions are distorted by our bias, (4) we are not touched by the challenges or victories of others, and (5) heart of worship surrounding us is missed.
