How it could have ended – or, the Law of Unintended Consequences

Thanks to James McGrath for a great video clip on how The Return of the Jedi could have ended. Toasted Ewok is a great way to liven up a slow Tuesday afternoon.

This could also be very helpful for thinking through the Law of Unintended Consequences. “Really, I didn’t mean to destroy your planet. It just trying to help.” I should show this to my girls the next time they try to explain to me why they “didn’t mean for that to happen.” I’m sure my wife will agree the value of the object lesson far outweighs the permanent emotional scarring the thought of Ewoks on fire might cause.
