  1. re: gimmicky preaching = The motocross stuff in church was sadly from a church in Texas (The Woodlands). I guess the main difference between the Catholic guy and the Bible church guy was the Catholic was not tacky enough to skateboard in gathered worship.

    The quote from Lloyd-Jones was spot on, I think. Even being a minister for a little over 10 years, you see the same fadish elements sweep through Evangelical circles.

  2. I’m 71% on the zombie apocalypse, which seems about right.

    • I scored a 69%, which is way to high. My knowledge of zombie lore must have slipped in. If there was an actual zombie apocalypse, I’d be one of the first to go. What am I supposed to do, throw books at them?
