  1. The article by Poythress is a wonderful exercise in exegesis and theology. As a “foundationalist” (better term than cessationist) I was convinced. The best part of the article is the numerous examples he gives of Reformed folks who have had “continuationist” experiences, e.g. RC Sproul being told by God to go into ministry and take his (future) wife with him. That article reflects Pothress’ mojo, too. He also has an article trying to bridge the divide between paedo and credo baptists.
