  1. Wait! I thought THM stood for “Take Home the Money” 🙂

    Actually, when I graduated from WTS in ’99 they were advertising for a new Systematics professor and had the starting salary posted. It was less than what I was going to make in a few months as a newly minted M.Div. doing campus ministry (and that was not a tony salary, either).

  2. Hmmm, maybe we should stop putting that in our promotional literature….

    Your problem was that you started too high. My first “career” job was as a youth pastor. Anything is a financial upgrade after that.
