Prelude to a Reformation

Okay, here is the first set of notes from the Luther class (Prelude to a Reformation). These notes are for the preliminary material that we covered on the first day of class. Remember, I wrote these for my use alone and have only lightly revised them – mostly to make sure I didn’t say anything that was completely incoherent. They may prove useful (or not).
